Music Review: Heavenly Debut

When I found out that Brian Littrell was releasing a solo album under this music genre, I was intrigued. I'll admit right now that I've been a huge fan of the Backstreet Boys, and Brian's voice for the past 7 years so I was excited to hear that he was producing this album.
I purchased this album after hearing the single "Welcome Home (You)" on the internet, which I immediately fell in love with. It's an upbeat song with a great message that I now listen to multiple times in a row each time I play this c.d. (I've just about worn out the back button on my c.d. player)! To be honest, each and every song on this album is worth listening to but some of the stand-outs (in my opinion) include "Welcome Home (You)," "I'm Alive" (another song I listen to repetitively,) "Grace of My Life" (a beautiful song about his wife,) "Over My Head," "Angels and Heros," and "Jesus Loves you" which includes a debut from Brian's son, which is too cute not to appreciate. The majority of the songs on the album were written or co-written by Brian himself.
This album is a mature reflection of Brian's love for his family and his faith, love, and trust in Jesus Christ. I strongly encourage the BSB fans to purchase this c.d. to show your support for Brian's brilliant accomplishment. Even if you aren't into the genre, you will probably enjoy it regardless. More importantly, I urge all fans of Christian Contemporary music to listen to this amazing album. Brian has his own sound, his own wonderful voice, and his own passion that does differentiate from the work he's done with the BSB. "Welcome Home" is truly a beautiful piece of work that will not disappoint!
