Music Review: Underappreciated Effort

While even some members of the Bonzos give this album low marks, I personally think Keynsham holds up very well. Without it we wouldn't have "You Done My Brain In," "Mr. Slater's Parrot," the definitive "Look At Me I'm Wonderful," "Quiet Talks and Summer Walks" or "Sport (the Odd Boy)," which would be a damn shame no matter how you slice it. While this did prove to be the end of the line (Let's Make Up and Be Friendly notwithstanding), there still seemed to be a lot of gas left in the tank.
