Music Review: Redemption, Redemption
Rating: 4 Stars
The band redeems themselves here after a not so great third album. They butchered Sympathy For The Devil anyway. This album has some great tracks Go Down Gamblin is one of the albums best tracks most people are aware of that song. Cowboys And Indians is my favorite slower pace song from the band i only wish that the song was longer. Now we come to the best track on the album and the title of my review Redemption this is song is Jazz Rock at it's best the song opens with some great drumming from Bobby Columby the Jazzy Middle section is wonderfull. I heard people refer B,S&T as fake Jazzers those people have no idea what they are talking about B,S&T were stacked with great musicians. They could have easily been an instrumental Jazz Rock Fusion Band of the highest order. There are a couple other good tracks on this album (John The Baptist) but the three songs i mentioned are the best.
