The Stranger is forty-two minutes and thirteen seconds long and was released in September, 1977. The Stranger went #2 on the U.S. Billboard 200 Album chart and went Diamond. The album released five songs with four on them chart and Just the Way You Are giving Billy Joel his first number one. Just the Way You Are received a Grammy Award in 1978 for Record of the Year. The Stranger is Billy Joel breakout album and considered by most music historians to be his finest work. I tend to agree. Though some may tend to disagree, but the music on the album seems to pop\easy listen style. This album deserves an AA+++++ from me.
