Why This Recording is'nt reissued yet is just plain wrong. it's a great record filled with fun great songs that have been split up and put different comps that have been released i guess. But hearing this album as a whole would be nice. Bert and Ernie singing with Sesame Street Gang, Gordon etc. All the recordings that were released in the 70's and 80's ought to be released again on CD in Alphabetical order or year of their release, that would be nice.

Update Note: If anyone wants this record: Amazon and Itunes have it for download only for now, too bad i wanted to purchase the CD to get the artwork and liner notes the stuff that makes an album more than moveable product. but i'd like support them anyway so they get the message. we want more of the original albums released. thanks to CTW/Sesame Street Records for listening now release Ernie Hits, "C" Is for Cookie the original version not the weird version out now, Sleepytime Bird,Sesame Street Monsters. just a thought.

oh i found the album on CD with two others albums it's called: Sesame Street: Old School, Vol. 1: 1969-1974 it has The Original Cast Album, Big Bird Sings and this album in this set.
