Music Review: Wonderful worthwhile Psalm settings
Rating: 4 Stars
Excellent recordings of the Genevan Pslams. The performance is very well realized with emphasis on the natural rhythms of the French language. The English (read Presbyterian)versions of these Psalms tend to lose some of the vitality of the original, becoming rather ponderous. However - and this is a pet peeve - the insert notes have no English translations of the original French.
