Music Review: Another Elfman Genius

Anyone who has listened to any part of this soundtrack realized the impact it makes on your current mood. If you are in a romantic mood, adventuresome mood, dark mood or playful mood, this soundtrack has it all. One of my favorite things is to listen to "Descent into Mystery" while driving at night. It makes me feel like I'm actually in the Batmobile. I highly recommend this soundtrack and any others by Danny Elfman to everybody.Music Review: Some of Elfman's Best

This scoreis one of the best scores ever written for a movie. The movie is also probably the best comic book-to-film adaptation in the world. But the score is just fantastic. Never has a theme expressed the true brooding inner unpleasentness of Batman. And this score sets the entire tone of the movie so incredibly well, you have to hear it to believe it. Great stuff. This was the first score album I ever purchased and it remains a firm favourite of mine. This for me is Elfman`s finest composition and the most consistant of Elfman`s scores in terms of listening enjoyment with excellent themes and melodies playing throughout the score. The title says it all. This is not only Danny Elfman's finest work, but it's one, if not the, best score ever. It was the first score I ever purchased (like most teenagers, I hadnt even heard of scores before this), and now I am a collector of movie scores. Batman has always been one of my favorite films of all time, but it wasn't until two years ago that I actually bought the soundtrack. It instantly became one of my favorite movie scores of all time. From tracks like the "Batman theme" to "Attack of the Batwing, you'll agree that, in the end, Danny Elfman has proven himself to be one Hollywood's most talented composers.
