Music Review: Beautiful score
Rating: 5 Stars
A beautiful score that pulls at your heartstrings. So well done that I believe it to be an integral part of the film. While I love the movie, there really isn't much to it. Simple story, no extraordinary twists. Barrington's score carries the film with swooping emotion and makes it feel much bigger than it is, in a very good way.
I see that many reviewers call this music sad, but I've always felt that it manages to weave in a positive and happy note. The score takes you on a little trip an leaves you feeling refreshed and good at the end.
It's a great listen whether you're a fan of the movie or not.
