Ambitiously comfy slab of agreeable folk-adelia and glistening pop-rock which can bare no shame does have a sketchy third quarter (well pretty much, a stronger first side is glaring) and a few derivative off-ramps, but the lengthy bewilderment of a debut was to become a once promising songwriter-arranger's most ambitiously intriguing offer.
