Music Review: An Introspective Translation of Enchanting Proportions

Armen Ra's Plays the Theremin is the captivating spark that unearths vague emotions, yet trying to tangibly place those emotions via conscious thought feels anticlimactic to the sheer and other-worldly strength (indeed: courage) of what is found on (and from) this album.
This is the music the libretto of the heart sets itself to. It plays to the hidden worlds of the soul as it choreographs and channels its before-lives and after-lives so oft unrecognized by our individual and collective human consciousness. It is a veil dance between emptiness and timelessness as they flow together and within to sounds that seem to reside somewhere between the nebulous tones of twilight and the pre-coffee ethers of dawn.
This is the paradox of the perplexing awareness of hope that one suddenly feels after they've given over their many lost yesterdays to a dream-house of rooms without doors and stairways leading to nowhere. I know now, for certain, that the various rooms and stairwells of the soul are imbued with these ethereal sounds, the revelations of which defy mere human perception but are no stranger to the heart's reveries.
This is an introspective translation of enchanting proportions. A pair of satiny hands gently cupping the fragile newborn luminosity of that elusive promise which all must sense within themselves but of which only a precious few seem led into the shadows of the heart to find.
