It not only practices you on your vowels, but it's nice to warm up your voice with this too. I have the other volumes of Voice Lessons to Go, even the one especially with the warmup session, but sometimes I like to vary it and use this instead.

This volume is a voice lesson compiled of vocal exercises concentrating on the different vowels we sing and their proper vocal production. The vocalizes are separated by the vowels: ah, ey, ee, oh, oo, and i. This CD is an excellent follow-up to the first 2 volumes by giving the singer new exercises to practice and fresh concepts to work on. The goal of Pure Vowels is to further the singers journey to develop natural, beautiful, healthy singing. The first half of the CD is a walk through and explanation of each new exercise with examples. Part two is straight piano accompaniment to all the exercises giving the singer complete independence. Ariella Vaccarino is a highly demanded voice teacher in Los Angeles California and has been teaching for over 15 years. She is an accomplished Opera singer who attended USC and has sung on many films.
