I have several other performances of each of the three works featured here, and these performances are quite good. (If you want the best, though, get Robert King's.) The sound quality is quite good if not terribly aggressive. But setting it up is quite odd. First, of all, it starts playing the music right away without taking you to the manu first. That's not too bad, but the MENU button is disabled so you can't get there. Worse yet, so is the AUDIO button so you can't switch between the Dolby and DTS tracks. So if you want to listen to it in DTS (it defaults to Dolby), you have to go to the last track (by hitting NEXT 28 times), then jog to the end of that track, and then you get the menu and can select DTS. (If I remember correctly, the audio button will work from this point on and you can alternate between the two tracks quickly.)
This all prevents the disc from getting five starts from me, but it shouldn't prevent you from buying the disc. (And for all I know, maybe it's just my machine that has this problem.)
