Music Review: Incredible performances

If you know The Angles, thought the studio tracks were decent but haven't seen or heard them live buy this without hesitation. You will be floored. If you don't know the Angles this is the absolute best of the best. In fact I would go so far as to venture that after being treated to what it took to endure a live performance, studio recordings will feel a bit pedestrian. For a new comer maybe Face to Face would be a better first purchase to get warmed up to what is in store just so it won't feel a bit disappointing after you hear this (and become determined to get all of their disks as I suspect you will!). Regardless, The Angels (Angel City) were definitely in their element when in front of a crowd and this CD set captures this fact perfectly. As a perspective, on a personal note, when I first received this disk I played disk one of the set more than a dozen times with little to nothing between over a matter of a few days. It really is that good.
