Music Review: THIS REALLY WORKS...NO LESSONS IN MEDITATION NEEDED!

If you need to relax, take a vacation from the stress in your life and are too wound up to sit and try to meditate and can't unwind enough to master any relaxation techniques or get only more stressed out trying to meditate, then you must try Dr. Andrew Weil's "Sound Mind, Sound Body" CD set. I have used this for several years to relax and it works! I have recommended it to friends, colleagues, and relatives. The first CD is an explanation by audiologists about how the music induces a state of relaxation. The frequencies of the music trigger levels of relaxation in the brain, first an induction phase, a deep phase, and then an awakening phase. I have often fallen asleep during the deep phase. When I was working at an extremely stressful job, I took time to listen to the CD before work, making sure I set an alarm clock so that I got to work on time. I have tried many relaxation CD's, but they are merely relaxing music that I played in the background at work. This has science behind it and actually will induce a state of relaxation no matter how wound up I am. I cannot thank you enough, Dr. Weil, for coming out with this wonderful CD. I really appreciate that you included the CD of scientific explanation.
