Music Review: love her lower the keys

as someone who has enjoyed andreas career since annie and seen her in many regional productions fantastiks annie get your gun etc, i was greatly disappointed by her child like arrangements. listen to the cast recording of jerrys girls and her song on the sand and time heals everything will amaze your. her lower register is smoky and mature. her fans grew up let her mature as well. jerrys girls is proof she can. oh, and lose the daughters castle in the clouds.Music Review: Finally, a solo album

I've been waiting for an Andrea McArdle solo album for years, so it was great to finally see this in the racks. Andrea sounds fantastic and the album has a surprising pop/R&B flavor to it, especially "Starlight Express," in which Andrea sings in a falsetto near the end. Great stuff! I just wish the album were longer -- "Castle in the Clouds," which is performed by her daughter, is cute, but I would have rather heard more Andrea than this!Music Review: Andrea McArdle is the quintessential Broadway vocalist.

Andrea McArdle quite possibly has the strongest and clearest voice on Broadway. In my opinion she is the perfect singer. Every note is a pleasure to hear. I have been a fan for years and had always hoped that Andrea would release a solo album. She certainly did not let me down. Buy this CD, fan or not, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Although I didn't like the choice of a few of the songs (e.g., Pinball Wizard), Andrea still shines. She is an amazing artist and it's a thrill to have an entire album of just Andrea belting out her broadway favorites.Music Review: Andrea McArdle grown up

Andrea McArdle has one of the greatest legit voices on the stage today. She's grown into the fantastic belt she had in ANNIE and does a great job on all cover songs here.
