Music Review: A Wonderful Treat!

Andrea Burns debut album is simply wonderful. She is able to not only sing every song with warmth and honesty, but she acts them as well. And that is not something you find with many singers today. Two stand outs for me are "The Wish" and "BTW Write Back". The former is a simple love song about requited love, something that everyone can relate to. She sings it with and aching sadness, that I almost tear up every time I listen to it. The latter is completely opposite. It is a hilarious comic song that shows what amazing acting chops she has. These are simply 2 highlights in an all around enjoyable album. There isn't a single song that doesn't evoke an emotion, which is exactly what music should do.
