I watched the movie w/ my cousin for the first time in years...and i love the songs (my favs r "once upon a december" and "in the dark of the night"
"in the dark of the night" has an eerie touch with a hard rock/heavy metal sound LOVE IT!!!
But the movie is extremely inaccurate w/ the history of the Romanovs and legend of Anastasia's survival. Don't watch it if you want a movie about history, cause it's not right.

ATTENTION!!!!! If you are into great music and talented singers, get the ANASTACIA cd. The best in my opinion, which matters very much. WONDERUL JOURNEY/AT THE BEGINNING IS THE BEST SONG.If you have NOT heard the cd or have it yet, I FOR ONE DO NOT KNOW WHY YOU ARE STILL SITTING If you have the cd, put it in and be enchanted. WELL, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? Review: You gotta love it!Rating: 5 Stars "Anastasia" is a really great movie, so naturally, the soundtrack is a really great CD. I love the songs "Journey to the Past," "Once Upon a December", "Learn to Do It," and "In the Dark of the Night." Well, I'm basically listing all the songs, so that should give you a pretty good idea about how great this CD is. You'd be crazy not to love it!

It's really wonderful, and I was not disappointed. I love the movie which was why I bought it. Although some people complain about the pop versions, and I don't like pop music, I thought the Deanna Carter and Thalia renditions were nice. I just didn't like the Aaliyah one, but that's my personal opinion. I do love Liz Callaway, and the singer who did Dmitri was wonderful too!Music Review: GET IT!

I remember when i was 3 and could barely say anything, but i could sing with my daddy a couple of these songs. Now I'm 12 and still listen to it. At The Beginning is a really good song. I would say to get it on your ipod(which you should buy too it's worth every cent) but they don't sell it there. But this is a wonderful soundtrack for all ages! You'll love beginning to the end!
