The movie Amazing Grace inspired me more than any other movie I have ever seen. Amazing Grace I found it humbling and it inspired me to walk the walk. I was quite surprised to see Christians portrayed so fairly and nicely in a movie. One day when I was walking through a store I just happened to see the album. I was so excited that I bought it immediately. It has become one of my favorite CDs if not my favorite and I have a very large collection. The film stirred deep compassion in my heart and I have watched it over and over. I recommend it highly. Most people are touched in someway when they see the movie. I am not a professional movie or music critic, but I think the movie and the CD were excellently produced and most importantly they honor God. It is easy to understand how the music was so inspired by the movie. When my friends have listened to the CD they loved it and found it enjoyable. The more I listen to it the more I want to listen. It continues to grow on me. I am proud to say that I am buying several of the CDs for Christmas gifts. It is a great new compilation of some of the most beloved sacred music.
The movie inspired me to walk the walk and the CD continually reminds me to walk that walk. Listening to the CD draws me closer to God in praise. I hope Chris Tomlin and others will create more albums like Amazing Grace.
