Music Review: reasonably good, but...

There are a lot of mistakes made throughout these recordings (though this could be a problem with my ipod, and not his playing. I can't say for sure.).
Nevertheless, this is a pretty good disc. You really can't go wrong with a Scriabin CD. Scriabin compositions are the best!!! However, there are much better recordings of this material out there. In my opinion, the best Scriabin interpreters are Arthur Rubinstein and Lang Lang.
Generally speaking; I feel that piano recordings work best when the performer adds jokes before, during, and after the performances. Lang Lang is a master at bringing comedy to great piano compositions. Unfortunately, Horowitz does not use comedy at all in these recordings.
Does anybody know if Victor Borge ever recorded Scriabin? I've been looking, but haven't found anything yet.
