Music Review: A decent effort but was expecting more

When I first listened to the album, I have to admit I had secondthoughts. The more I listened to it, it kind of grew on me. Chilton takes an idea or concept like "My Rival" and gives it
an early rock n'roll sound. I mean he even sounds like Buddy Holly in one song. He sings like the singer in the band "The
Clash" in the song "Should I stay or should I go." He combines
styles that I wasn't expecting. I think his guitar riffs have
a recklessness about them; yet they are still entertaining.
Chilton is a different kind of rocking. It's like he's mellow
with a rockin' undercurrent.
