Music Review: Another great collection of the Glasgow Grackle's pen

"The Glasgow Grackle" as Adam McNaughtan titles himself, is a Scottish schoolteacher with a wry sense of humor and a voice that'd make the birds fly away. He writes with great wit and a love for his homeland.
Particular favorites on this CD are "The Scottish Song" which is a music Cliff's Notes on Shakespeare's "MacBeth", the play that cannot be mentioned by name in Scotland.
"Cholesterol" is McNaughtan's protest about the Scottish national blood-fat epidemic: "But who wants to grow old/Eating St. Ivo's Gold/I'd rather taste butter and die..."
One thing about McNaughtan, you don't get the usual love ballads. You really get a feel of the Glasgow streets and the humor of the country.
